This track was recorded at our Genesis Party event on October 15th at Single Fin Cafe inside Waterboyz, Pensacola, FL. It has a unique groove with a blend of Latin and African rhythms. The lead, amazing Spanish rapper Jay El Revelde, is accompanied by his wife, Karina, my wife, Amy (who also did the Hi Hat), our friend Tris, and Austin (who started the whole thing off with some acoustic guitar), a new comer to our family.
The rhythm section for this song consists of Christian Butts on Aux percussion as well as conga and Jesse James Edwards on Djembe. Jackson and I helped out with some drums—that super sub bass kick drum is him. Jackson also did some bass guitar. Gabe, a friend of ours from way back, played the lead guitar and mandolin. Enjoy.
